I'm glad that the kids of youngest generation of 'Raeverse figments have not started breeding, yet. Can you imagine the heart-broken Uli fangirls if he were to become a father? The orphaned Aria doesn't count. He just babysits her because she's the same age as his baby sister Seren (the two of them are best friends), and both are more or less permanently attached to him, as is Ailsa.

Hee, I don't think it's time to do an exact count yet... I think I have a couple dozen main characters, but the supporting cast... I have four countries to fill out! And four races! It's going to be terrible figuring out the Griffonland royal family. Those kids like big families. I'm nowhere near done, but I can't rush it... people show up when I need them, usually, and not before! I guess they need Flaire to introduce them before they'll deign to talk to me.
Anyway, according to the cast page of the Adhemlenei, I have around 64 named characters. This does not include any OCs from anywhere else (like The Tactician and the Jewel, which is 80% OCs in a Fire Emblem world. Although they're OC's that were mostly adapted/stolen from professional cycling XD so they're not wholly 'original'!). That figure doesn't include a few side characters from the comic script, for instance, but it's a goodly number. And I think they're growing exponentially... ten years ago I only had eleven characters and it stayed that way for a long time. Now a new one shows up every few weeks.
I took a hint from Aywren and Syn and now I start a spin-off story when someone started clamouring for attention. (pats Tseo) Otherwise there would be too much to fit in to one story, since their history covers a lot of time!
I don't usually get huge figment dumps. Usually there'll be a role I need to fill, and I'll stick someone in... or someone will show up in the background of a picture... or I'll just draw a picture of a random person... and then they'll start popping up in other places. Tseo's story is the most dramatic. But since he's my gateway to the Dragonland, I'mma thank him for it. I had a picture pop into my head for Kirstril, his buddy and the King of the Dragonland, and then there was this other guy in the picture. And then the other guy showed up in a dream and demanded a name and a portrait. And then he told me of his angst-ridden background and asked me to write it down. XD It's coming, Tseo bud. I'll get around to it.

In my world, Gullac gets all the fangirls. And he loves it.

It's a good thing the in-'Raeverse fangirls have not discovered fanfiction yet (or if they did, I don't know about it). Just imagine how scary THAT would be. Four words (and a letter): Rabid LudwigXUli shippers.
