*faints*Needless to say, on July 2 I will be at the premier at the closest theater with a midnight showing...dressed as Princess Azula. (I know she's only seen twice in Season 1, and doesn't have any actual lines, but she's still my favourite character!)
Just thought I'd post. I figure a few more of my fellow Avatards will be posting something about the commercial at some point before the night is over.
Also, I'd like to say that I still have my doubts about the movie. For one, I've yet to see Aang act like, well, his goofy self. And Zuko has too much hair, and his scar is too difficult to see. The Bending looks like it'll be awesome, but if you look at the firebending in the SuperBowl commercial, you'll notice that the firebender uses fire from a firepit. That's how Waterbending and Earthbending work (manipulating a pre-existing source), not Firebending (utilizing the Breath to create energy, which is then pushed outwards to create the fire which the Bender can then control).
It looks like they did a good job with Aang's Avatar State, as far as the Glow is concerned. And the Bending does look like it'll be really awesome. I just hope that Shayamalan doesn't take out all the humer that makes Avatar...well, Avatar. If Sokka's not a humorously idiotic genius and Aang's not a goofy kid...it just won't be the same. But I'll watch it more times than is healthy anyway!
