I was doing some investigation, and apparently there are actually people paid (in third-world countries) to help bots get through website security. (Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captcha#Human_solvers Admittedly, it's Wikipedia, but still...) Don't know if that's what happened, but... well, most people don't have a link to an ad as their sig. Nor do they make incredibly vague, badly written comments that could apply to any discussion on a random thread as their first post.
