Welp.
Got key. Created GW2 account. Started downloading client. Couldn't install, because my videocard is not recent enough. Oh well, no Beta for me.
At least I have a GW2 account I guess, for when I get a job and save money for a new computer, a faster internet connection, and for buying the game.

Wow, how'd you get a key already? It keeps telling me I need to be premium to get one. The free keys for the general public are supposed to be given away tomorrow. Or are they all gone?
Sorry that it wouldn't install. At least you know whether or not it will run and what you'll need. Hopefully you'll be able to join us in time!

I really, really, REALLY want to join in. Unfortunately, my computer doesn't have enough free space for the game. And something tells me it wouldn't run on my compy anyway.
BUT. I should (hopefully) be getting a new compy soon...mainly for the hard drive space, but I'll make damn sure it's got all the latest and greatest as far as drivers and graphics cards go.
(I'm in the process of trying to convince my parents (dad) that an iMac is a good idea for me. Dad has one, and absolutely LOVES it. And really all I need is the space (I have a one terabyte MINIMUM requirement for any new compy I get), but if it's a Mac, then it'll be great for my art too...which has been neglected due to photoshop crashing on me thanks to lack of HD space.)
