So, I've decided to join up the craziness this year and give this a go. Any one else doing the NaNoWriMo this year?
I'm going to write about Jayce's past, before he met Aeraganon and Tiarc'rie and under what circumstances they meet...It's going to be in an alternate world but the background will pretty much match up to the Jayce in the RP Forums.

I am, of course. This year I'm working on Cadence of Rage, since The Man With No Name has been begging me to tell his story and Lusiel has been rather passive lately (odd for him).
T.M.W.N.N is one of the Four Hearts, so this should be an interesting journey.
There are a lot of interesting things in that world about names and what are in them and marriages and mixed blood and racism... And there won't be any run-on sentences like that last one. XD

I don't have much of a support group here where I live...I was wondering if you guys wanted to form up a support group here in the sygnus forums? I know I could use some support even if it's online.

There's a pretty large one here. Meetups every day, it seems. Though not always nearby. The meetups and write-ins nearby happen once a week.
But I'd be more than happy to be supportive.
I'll probably be taking a break from Novels of Aelwyd this year...because Xan and Lae have been ridiculously loud. And refuse to conform to the world of Aelwyd. Looks like I finally have a couple of characters that belong solely in the FFIV-verse. Especially considering ShinRa and 'TaRo were BFF's with one KluYa....
I could MAKE them fit into Aelwyd if I REALLY wanted to...and may do it for the lulz...but they tend to prefer FFIV.
((Granted, now that I'm thinking of those figments in Aelwyd terms....yeah. It works. Looks like I have something to write for NaNoWriMo afterall. Though I'm not going for a win this year. I'll write when I can, but life is busy and I don't anticipate getting 50K. I'll be happy with 25K))

It fit with the world really well. Cadence of Rage... There's an importance to names in Sieteave that really... well, the title just fit really well.

I'm not writing about Flaire this year... I'm writing about Esgalwen instead! She was a LotR OC in my head, and then my friends started a D+D campaign that never finished, so I'm going to finish it just because. Because I have dramatic ideas in my head. Because it will be silly. Because it will teach me about writing to climaxes. Because it will teach me about writing believable villains and ambiguous characters.
If it doesn't take up enough words, I have more than enough unfinished fanfiction to fill up the rest. : P Even though we're supposed to start fresh, whatever.

I'm not sure if I have a concrete villain yet...but the story is forming up....
