Note: This blog has resumed updates as of December 2012. Please see the updated post here!
I started this blog about a year and a half ago to chronicle my journey with breedable pets in Second Life. This is a hobby that has brought me a lot of fun and friends in the online world.
What you may not have known was during this stretch, I was a freelance writer who worked from home. This gave me a lot of flexibility to keep up with the newest announcements, attend releases and try out fun pets as soon as they were available.
This week, I’ve started a new chapter in my life, having been hired as a full-time technical writer for a software developer. I already knew that my time in Second Life was going to become much less. I also went back and forth on how to approach continued blogging here on this site.
I’m a little behind things due to a job search and finding employment, so I wasn’t aware that the Breedables Inc. blog written by Tracy Sparrowtree was relaunched a few months back. When she got a bit short on blogging time, she took a pause and handed off the blogging mantle to me for a bit. I had a feeling that she would be back at it in time, though, since once a blogger, always a blogger. I’m glad to see my hunch was correct.
The point of this post is that I’ve decided to take a break now, myself. I won’t take down the existing blog, just in case I get the itch to come back again. I can’t say if or when on this as I’m going to be doing some major readjustments with the new job and everything that comes with it.
Thanks to everyone who’s visited and supported this blog! Thanks to developers who submitted breedables news and updated information to me. Thanks to all PR folks who communicated with me and helped get your important information out to the community.
I hope everyone has a great time breeding the pet of your choice and best wishes to get the pets of your dreams!
