Ben blows up at Kip — mostly because he doesn’t think Kip is taking him seriously. Ben’s actually being pretty nice, just getting glowy-eyed. I remember Kip mentioning that one of Ben’s last temper tantrums included making books burst into flame. So it could be worse.
Anyhow, what do you want to bet that Kip pushed his luck with Ben on purpose? Afterall, Kip wants to test out his theory that Aur can be used to keep Ben calm….

I have to say… Ben looks rather terrifying. Well, er, not to ME- I would probably just hug him and nom his hair or something- but to Aur an angry-faced glowy-eyed “master” is intimidating.
